Creating your first Application

In this tutorial we're going to create our first edoras framework based web application: A rudimentary blog. It consists of the following Chapters:

Model, View and Controller
Creating the model classes, persistence configuration, controller, backingbeans and the first simple ICEfaces views.

Enums, Descriptions, Annotations TBD
Adding @Label annotations and translation, create the Status description, add @Creation und @Modification annotations.

Validation, Relations TBD
Add validation to the fileds, Add relation handling to the views

Security, Login TBD
Secure the application with a login and registration mechanism and define access rights for admins and users.

AJAX Push, Extended Scopes TBD
Create the main blog page with a live push mechanism for comments and edoras' extended scopes.

Right now, the current state of the tutorial project can be got from the subversion repository at http://repo.edorasframework.org/svn/examples/trunk/. A archive download will be provided as soon as all chapters are finished.
